CAAP Now Hiring Personnel for Sangley Airport

President Rodrigo R. Duterte ordered the immediate use of the Danilo Atienza Air Base on Sangley Point, best known as Sangley Airport, for general aviation to help decongest the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

In line with this, the Department of Transportation (DoTr) is scrambling to complete upgrades to the facility while the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is also doing its best fulfill additional requirements to make the airport serviceable as the October 2019 deadline set the President approaches.

Last August 29, CAAP announced that it is now hiring personnel for Sangley Airport. These vacancies are for Job Orders, with minimum requirements for each position.

The general qualifications are the following:

  • Natural born citizen of the Philippines
  • Physically, mentally, and psychologically fit
  • With good moral character
  • Without criminal or administrative case
  • Has not been dishonorably separated from government or private service
